This Sunday, the Monkee Family was invited to travel south to Everett, WA to attend
Disney’s Phineas and Ferb: The Best LIVE Tour Ever!
Phineas and Ferb and the rest of the Tri-State Area crew magically slide off the screen onto the stage to sing and dance to some of the boy’s most famous songs from the animated television series.
The show begins on the last day of summer and the fun loving Phineas and Ferb are determined to make the last day of summer the “best day ever!”. They create one of their greatest inventions yet, a mash-up machine that combines all the characters fun ideas into one hilariously entertaining live show.
This was the first time any of us had even heard of these zany animated tween-loved television characters, where have we been, but Jackson and Easton were quickly singing the songs, laughing at the witty humour, and boo-ing Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s evil plans. I was pleasantly surprised that many of the clever jokes were aimed more for the adults than the children.
Jackson and Easton were dancing in their seats and also dancing on the stage.
Jackson couldn’t believe that he did that. Neither could I.
Everybody loves Perry, especially me!
I caught myself cheering loudly for the lovable pet platypus of Phineas and Ferb, along with my gymnastic loving children. Jackson and Easty marvelled at the agile flipping Agent P, the alter-ego of the boys’ pet platypus, as he quietly tries to stop Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s evil plans.
I was happily surprised at how polished, entertaining, and professionally choreographed the Phineas and Ferb live show really was. The inventive costumes kept me wondering how those amazing dancers could maneuver as they performed their routines so effortlessly in these creative costumes.
It was a great memorable day out with the Monkee family with Fat Free Campfire marshmallows to boot!
